| Biography: | My journey into IT started when my father purchased our first family PC, a Compaq Presario, in 1998. I was only 12, but I remember it had less than 2 GB of hard drive space and 16 MBs of RAM but it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. What a time to be alive. Since then, I joined the USAF and served as a Cyber Defense Senior Non-Commissioned Officer where I learned about a multitude of communications systems. Though my career started off as a radio technician, I got the opportunity to work on networking equipment, SATCOM terminals, and dabble in Cybersecurity. It was in the Air Force that I picked up a passion for teaching and mentoring young adults which is what brings me here. Beyond my career in the Air Force, I am married to a wonderful wife, Jamie, and we have 5 great kids ranging in ages from 15 to 4. (No more inbound, I swear!) |
