Pitch Overview

What Is a 90-Second Pitch?

A 90-second pitch is a concise presentation designed to communicate:

  1. The Problem – What challenge or need exists?
  2. Your Idea – What is the innovation?
  3. Why It Matters – How does your idea improve lives, solve a problem, or create value?
  4. Impact – What difference could this make?

You do not need a finished business plan. The focus is on clarity, creativity, and potential impact. Think of it as explaining your idea to someone in an elevator — quickly, clearly, and memorably.

What Makes a Strong Pitch?

The best pitches are:

  • Clear – The audience quickly understands the idea
  • Compelling – The problem matters and the solution is exciting
  • Simple – The concept can be explained quickly
  • Impactful – The idea could create real value or change
